BNI> How well equipped is your salon and about your trained staff?
DM> Every Biguine salon in India enjoys its own unique architectural attributes which makes it different from others and yet unifies it in an appealing way, leaving trademarks of Biguine at every place. The inside designs are beautifully juxtaposed with all the consistent elements specific to Biguine salons across the world, giving clients a uniform feeling of experiencing the same pampering which they expect from any other salon of Biguine.

All Biguine salons have a French supervisor who comes with an extensive experience of 10-15 years. They all get trained at our headquarters in Paris and join us at our new salons in India. The Indian professionals work alongside these trained French employees. The stylists at Biguine get trained by our Head of Training - Carole Robequin who comes with an experience of over 25 years in the Hair industry, having worked across the world and also in the Asian markets before joining Biguine family.

BNI> How did the concept of a salon chain come about?
DM>The salon chain is an international concept and we have adapted the same at Jean-Claude Biguine.

BNI> How is JCB different & your plans for the future?
DM> Every Biguine salon has a French supervisor who comes with an extensive experience of 10-15 years. They all get trained at our headquarters in Paris and join us at our new salons in India. We offer head-to-toe beauty services from hair cuts to hair styling also skin services including facials, manicures, etc. We also offer spa service and are rightly called the 'House of Beauty'. All of these services are provided under one roof.

"With immense response which we received at our flagship salon in Bandra, we decided to rapidly expand and cover what we call the platinum strip in Mumbai. With our successful launch of Kemps corner outlet, we went ahead to provide the need gap which exists in the salon industry by providing an organized, head-to-toe beauty destination to our western suburban. I hope that we touch many more lives by way of our International expertise for which our Biguine team is extremely excited".

Immediately, we will be looking at opening more salons in Mumbai and simultaneously explore Bangalore and Delhi. We plan to open 50 salons in the next 5 years and that's what we are focussing on. For the same purpose, we are exploring various avenues of partnerships, presence in luxury hotels, independent salons in high streets and other interesting collaborations which come our way.
